Intercollegiate Academic Computing Committee (IACC) ITOC

IACC fosters collaboration among the members of the Claremont Colleges Consortium in developing and maintaining the best possible teaching and learning technology environment for the consortium.

IACC is the operational governance body for the consortial instance of the Sakai Learning Management System and other shared educational technology services. It is responsible for monitoring the performance of service operators, such as lead colleges or vendors.

Recent activity includes:

• Exploring strategies to plan for and measure technology-enhancements and the effectiveness on learning by participating in a presentation and discussion and by exploring technology-enhanced strategies at institutions of learning beyond the Claremont Consortium.
• Preparing 7Cs Sakai usage surveys.
• Identifying how the 7Cs and other institutions are using technology to enhance learning and preparing how to best analyze and share this information with the 7Cs.
